COVID 19 Precautions

To ensure the safety of our staff and patients, please make contact with our clinic prior to your appointment if any of the following apply to you or your family.

  • Fever

  • Sore throat

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath

  • If you have been asked to quarantine.

  • If you or a family member has been a close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID19 or suspected of having COVID19.

Please limit the number of people attending your child’s appointment where possible. We offer telehealth appointments to patients or family members who are feeling unwell.

COVID 19 Vaccination Policy

No child or young person attending Queensland Paediatric Specialists will be denied access to care or treatment based on their vaccination status, however if the parent, carer or guardian accompanying the child is unvaccinated, we request that you advise reception staff upon arrival to your appointment.

We also request that you wear a mask and social distance where possible. There are no restrictions in place for siblings of the patient attending the clinic for the appointment.  

Queensland Paediatric Specialists have followed the directions from the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) for all health care workers to be fully vaccinated by December 15th 2021.

NOTE: If any person attending an appointment at Queensland Paediatric Specialists is feeling unwell, please call our receptionist ahead of time to receive advice as to whether it will be appropriate for you to attend the clinic.
